Finance & Support Services Manager job summary

We require an experienced manager with business and finance expertise to lead the support staff team at The Thomas Hardye School. The successful candidate will work within the wider multi-academy trust team to ensure that the school is compliant and applying all the necessary regulations in the Academies Financial Handbook, including accurate financial recording and reporting. You will have line-management responsibilities for the finance team and the wider support staff team and you will support all budget holders to follow best practice and achieve best value. As part of the school leadership team you will be expected to play a part in the wider-decision making processes in the school and present to governors and other staff, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have an accountancy qualification (level 4 or above) and experience of accounting practice and business management
