What skills and experience we're looking for
As a T3 LSA you will work with students at St George’s School and within the community, with complex medical and behavioural challenges, and work towards implementing specific programs that enable us as a School to respond positively to our students.
Using your skills, training and experience and working under the direction of, and in co-operation with the class teacher and higher level LSAs, you will support the learning of the class through small group and 1-2-1 mentoring.
It is essential that applicants possess the following:
- NVQ L2 or equivalent, or specific school experience that would make you suitable for the role
- The ability to demonstrate a high level of personal resilience
- An understanding of, and demonstrable ability to hold safeguarding at the centre of their practice
Some understanding of SEN would be desirable
