What skills and experience we're looking for
As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Salary: Grade C Points 4 - 6, (£21,189 - £21,968 Full Time Equivalent). The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £16,078.20.
Hours: 33.5 hours per week / Term Time only (38 Weeks) / Temporary until end 31st March 2023.

East Garforth Primary Academy is located in the outer east side of Leeds in the community of Garforth. The academy is a slightly larger than average sized academy, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. There are currently 257 pupils on roll, including 25 part time Nursery pupils. At East Garforth Academy, we strongly believe in giving individual attention to the needs of the children in our care.
