We are looking to recruit a highly personable teacher to join our dedicated teaching team and become part of the St. Nicholas School family. Depending on the skill set of the successful candidate:

The post could involve working in KS3 or KS4 and would suit someone with either:

  • Mainstream primary teaching experience in KS1 and/or KS2
  • Previous special school experience

OR

The post could involve working with our Life Skills students and would suit someone with either:

  • Primary teaching experience, especially Early Years / KS1 or
  • Experience of working with SLD

Commitment to safeguarding

St. Nicholas School is situated in Southend-On-Sea and offers a quality, inclusive education for secondary aged students (11-16 years) with an Education and Health Care Plan. St. Nicholas is part of a Multi-Academy Trust, the SEN Trust Southend, along with three other local special schools.
