About the Trust

First Federation Trust, an education charity and multi-academy trust of 21 primary schools across Devon, West Dorset and Plymouth, is looking to recruit a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join the hard-working and friendly team at Gatehouse Primary Academy from September 2024.

Gatehouse Primary Academy is a two form entry school situated in the heart of the coastal town of Dawlish, within easy access of the M5, A38 and A380. It is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain.

About this role

The position is for a full time KS1 teacher offered on a fixed term basis for a year.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who thrives on challenge, has good curriculum knowledge and is passionate about securing positive outcomes for every individual. Experience of leading early reading would be desirable.

We are a large, coastal Primary School . We currently have over 318 children on roll, split into 12 classes. We aim to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment for all children to learn. Each child is supported and encouraged to do their best and take part in a wide range of opportunities and experiences building happy memories of their school days. Our talented team of educators enjoy their work and the inspiring environment makes learning fun and raises standards.
