Holywell C of E School is seeking to recruit an inspirational full-time class teacher. Holywell School is a very special place to work, in a beautiful rural location. Our unique school is situated in the beautiful village of Tawstock, near to the North Devon town of Barnstaple. The school is one of only two thatched schools left in the country and enjoys beautiful outlook and local walks. Although we are a small setting, we can offer plenty of character and a hugely supportive church and school community, giving us a very rare family feel and an excellent opportunity for all learners to thrive.
We can promise you a wonderful team of staff and highly supportive families. Our children are eager to learn, and we pride ourselves on the values that we instil in our children. We also have strong links through our multi academy trust. Our dedicated team of staff and governors work together to create a school where there is a real sense of community and where teachers and learners can flourish.
Our aims are straightforward. We strive to develop the intellectual, spiritual, moral, social and cultural needs of each child through inspirational teaching. We very much value the positive and sustained support of the parents to achieve this.
We are seeking to recruit a skilled teacher who is an excellent practitioner and able to demonstrate high levels of effectiveness in the classroom. Applicants will require strong organisational and communication skills and have a real passion for teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful, happy primary school. We are looking for staff who have the potential to have a significant impact on the quality of teaching beyond their own classroom.
