Teacher job summary

Pickwick Academy Trust is looking to recruit a full-time Teacher on a fixed-term contract, based at Aloeric Primary School. In addition to teaching 1 day a week in Year 1, the successful candidate will provide SLT release time and support catch-up programmes. KS1 and KS2 experience is required.
Required to start on the 1st January 2021 or earlier if possible.
The fixed-term contract will end on the 31st August 2021.
Salary M2 – M6, £26041 - £35971 per annum, dependent on experience.

Aloeric Primary School (Melksham)

We are a very happy team at Aloeric, with great relationships between staff and pupils and between the school and the local community. We believe in putting the children at the heart of what we do and want to develop all aspects of every child as they travel through the school – really giving the children a say in the development of the school and giving them opportunities to become confident and independent learners for the future.



We support an exciting curriculum, based on the needs and interests of the pupils, with many extra-curricular opportunities, visits and clubs to enrich learning. The school is well-equipped, set in spacious grounds and is able to provide outside adventure play, nature areas, and a large sports field.



There is a great atmosphere at Aloeric, with a real team spirit of mutual respect and enjoyment. We work very productively with parents to do the best for the children and reach out to the local community to broaden the experiences we can offer.



We are a very welcoming school. We are always keen to celebrate success and regularly invite parents in for assemblies and special events.
