Teacher and Maths Subject Lead job summary

Byron Wood Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Teacher and Maths Lead to join our motivated, supportive team. We are looking for somebody with commitment, energy and expertise to work closely with staff to ensure that the children achieve their very best. 

Our ideal candidate has: 

        • A drive to make a real difference to children's lives 
          • Recent, relevant and successful experience in a primary school setting 
            • A Teaching qualification or equivalent 
              • An interest in fostering an inclusive ethos in your work  
                • A wish to work in an energetic and passionate team.  

                   

                In this role you will: 

                    • Lead the learning for classes or groups of children following teacher’s planning and resourcing 
                      • Ensure pupil’s needs are catered for in lessons 
                        • Provide detailed verbal and written feedback on lesson content, pupil responses to learning activities and pupil behaviour, to teachers and pupils 
                          • Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs.
