The Governors of Bents Green School are seeking to appoint for September 2022 until Easter 2023, a temporary classroom teacher for a maternity cover. This is required at our Gleadless site.

Bents Green School is a school for students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions and communication and interaction difficulties. We are seeking to appoint a full-time teacher for a maternity cover from September 2022 until Easter 2023. The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people with severe and complex learning difficulties and/or ASD and will be committed to raising standards of attainment and achievement for young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will receive mentoring and training to support you in this role.

The successful candidate should:-
• Have an ability to teach a range of subjects
• Be dynamic, dedicated and an enthusiastic teacher with suitable qualifications and experience.
• Be familiar with the National Curriculum and other syllabus requirements.
• Be committed to involving parents and the community in the life of the school and the drive towards inclusion
• Aspire to be the best and believe you have the skills to achieve the highest standards for yourself, your colleagues and the young people you teach
