What skills and experience we're looking for
CP Riverside School is an Alternative Provision Free School and a member of the East Midlands Education Trust.
We seek to appoint a Teacher who can motivate and inspire students to develop a passion and enthusiasm for their subject.
You must be a resilient individual committed to positively impacting the lives of young people. You will teach students who have a range of special educational needs, including ADHD and SEMH and students who have been unsuccessful within mainstream schools for various reasons. Therefore, we require all staff members to build healthy relationships with young people, understand and employ restorative practice principles and commit to ongoing professional development.

Further details about the role
Our chosen person will work alongside our dedicated team of teachers and support staff to secure our mantra of ‘mainstream education, alternative environment’. The successful candidate will teach students across key stages three and four. Our students are currently taught in classes of up to eight students, with a number of classes double-staffed to ensure we can meet the needs of our students.
