Dunton Bassett Primary School, part of Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust (IPAT), are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic Teacher to join our friendly and hard working team in our school. This post is part-time 0.4 FTE. Salary scale M1 - M6 dependent on experience.

Our IPAT schools include All Saints CE Primary School, Sapcote, Dunton Bassett Primary School, Sharnford CE Primary School , John Wycliffe Primary School, Lutterworth, Gilmorton Chandler CE Primary School, Ullesthorpe CE Primary School. Claybrooke Primary School, St. Margaret's CE Primary School, Stoke Golding and St Mary's CE Primary School, Bitteswell. We are an established Trust of schools set up in June 2017. All our schools are based in Leicestershire and close to motorway links

Dunton Bassett Primary School caters for children from 4 to 11 years of age.

The school has seen many changes recently, including extensive building improvements which mean we now have a fantastic, large EYFS and KS1 classroom, along with a new hall and also have a purpose-built KS2 two-classroom block. We have beautiful and extensive grounds, including two playgrounds, a school field and an outdoor allotment area.

Our teaching teams:

  • Plan and deliver high quality lessons, carefully crafted for the unique children in each class.

  • Recognise the barriers to learning that children can face, addressing them with skill and sensitivity.
  • Commit to their own professional development and actively seek out insights from professional qualifications and educational research.

Our partnership with Unity Schools Partnership (USP) provides the resources of a wide range of curriculum experts to ensure that our curriculum design is robust, coherent, and well sequenced. Each decision regarding our curriculum is grounded in evidence-informed practices, enhancing the retention of knowledge for pupils and improving the effectiveness of teaching. This approach to curriculum development empowers teachers to focus on the craft of teaching, utilising their expertise and creative talents to effectively deliver learning to their unique cohorts.

At IPAT, we are committed to providing each pupil with an entitlement to an enriching and aspirational curriculum that not only inspires but also acts as a catalyst for social mobility.
