Kings Heath Primary School is one of the larger Primary schools in Birmingham and has provided the Local Authority with an integrated resource base for children with physical disabilities. That, along with the diversity of backgrounds of our children, make our school exceptionally inclusive. There are three classes in each year group from Reception upwards and a waiting list for places in most year groups. Our total school capacity is 654 pupils in the main school and we have over 60 places in our Nursery.
Previous Ofsted inspections judge the school as ‘Good’ and this from the February 2012 reflects the reports well, summarising us as “a good school where all groups of pupils achieve well. It is extremely inclusive. As one parent, reflecting the views of many, said, ‘The school deals with every child as an individual regardless of race or disability.’ Teamwork is strong. Members from all groups in the school community make significant contributions to creating a vibrant learning environment for all.’’
