What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Early Years class teacher who can build upon the success of our current EYFS Ofsted grading of ‘Good’.

At our last Ofsted Inspection, under the new framework, we were recognised to be Good in all areas. Ofsted recognised that:

  • Pupils love learning at Nursling Primary and apply themselves well to any given task.
  • Behaviour in lessons and around the school is calm and purposeful.
  • Pupils enjoy coming to school.
  • The ‘Nursling Team’ want the very best for pupils in their care, socially and academically.
  • Staff morale is high at Nursling.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • is a reflective practitioner who is committed to delivering excellent learning for all
  • has a secure knowledge of EYFS and/or KS1 curriculum
  • is ambitious for all children to reach their full potential
  • can share our passion for putting children at the heart of everything we do
  • will support our Christian ethos, vision and values
  • is a warm and friendly team player, full of energy who likes to contribute fully to school life and has a sense of humour!
