What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you the sort of teacher who could inspire a child to write to a global company to stop the use of palm oil? Could you support children to understand local issues such as litter on the streets? Can you promote entrepreneurial skills when developing an enterprise project?

Welcome to the beginning of an exciting adventure for you at Fairfield Primary Academy. Children are at the heart of everything we do. We want them to be excited by the curriculum, challenged to achieve their full potential and to SHINE.

We celebrate diverse talents, skills and interests within our school community and we look forward to inviting candidates to contribute new ideas and experiences to our team. We are particularly keen to hear from teachers who are passionate about making a difference to each child through our knowledge-engaged SHINE curriculum. You will be prepared to go the extra mile and have the ability to make learning purposeful, fun and engaging.

At Fairfield you will benefit from being part of a very committed and dedicated team who support each other, laugh in the staffroom and strive to do the best for our community!

Spencer Trust academies share an ambition to deliver results that compete with the very highest performing schools in the country, and deliver a curriculum for students that is underpinned by breadth, opportunity and quality: one that seeks to give young people the opportunity to develop into well rounded global citizens that believe they can influence positive change in the world.
