Teacher - Fixed Term Contract job summary

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our team and be part of our school community. Depending on your passion and experience, we would consider you for either KS1 or KS2. We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers and ECTs who would like to join us. We would consider an early start for ECTs. We would also consider part-time and flexible working for the right candidate.

We are looking to appoint for one year initially, but there may be opportunities for this post to become permanent.

About you

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and caring, and with high expectations of both the children and themselves. You will be committed to teaching a rich curriculum and be a great team player with excellent communication skills. Our team have many different and mutually complimentary skills, and we would love you to add your skill-set to these. We would like you to be open to learning from others to do everything possible to enhance the children’s learning experience and to develop and move forward as a staff team together. We’re a one-form entry primary school in Welwyn and our Trust is the Agora Learning Partnership. We work with the other schools within the Trust to collaborate, exchange ideas and support each other to give our children and staff the best possible chance to develop, learn and thrive.
