Teacher full time job summary
Limpsfield Junior School is recruiting a KS2 teacher from 09/22. Limpsfield is a great place to work. Our children come from a variety of backgrounds and bring with them a wealth of experiences and knowledge. Children come to school to learn and this is reflected in their positive behaviour in lessons and towards each other. Parents and carers are very supportive of the school and this has been particularly apparent during the recent challenges that we have faced.
The school has a collaborative approach towards planning and teaching and a strong culture of sharing ideas and resources.
We are looking for a good classroom practitioner who is able to work within a team. They will need to have good communication skills and a flexible approach to their teaching. A key improvement objective for this academic year is the provision for SEND pupils with a particular focus on the use of the Birmingham toolkit to support classroom practice.
Commitment to safeguarding
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
