Teacher job summary
We are looking for an excellent, enthusiastic and capable teacher with high expectations who will be committed to helping us achieve our vision of ‘Preparing children for their future in an ever-changing world’. Within our caring community, we provide a stimulating curriculum encouraging each child to grow in confidence. We endeavour to give children not only the opportunity to develop their intellectual and physical skills, but also their personal and spiritual qualities enabling them to become caring, capable members of society.
The position is available from September 2022 and will involve working with groups of children and classes across all ages.
To be considered for the position you will need to:
- Have QTS and be able to demonstrate successful teaching experience in KS1 and KS2;
- Be able to plan and deliver sequences of lessons / interventions which ensure progress for all pupils - committed to raising attainment and achievement
- Ensure that lessons are engaging and capture the interest of pupils in a stimulating and well-organised learning environment that promotes the characteristics of effective learning;
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge of the requirements for the National Curriculum;
- Have good behaviour management skills, using appropriate strategies and demonstrating high expectations;
- Work in partnership with staff and parents/carers to ensure the best for all pupils demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills;
- Have a positive, flexible attitude to work showing resourcefulness and resilience;

The role is currently fixed term for the academic years 2022/23 and 2023/24. The position will be reviewed in the Summer Term 2024 and will be dependent on the needs of the school at that time.
