Class Teacher - Year 4

We are seeking an exceptional Class Teacher to join our welcoming and driven team at Hall Meadow Primary School. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge our pupils
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform your teaching
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and lead on specific subject areas
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community
  • Participate in the school's CPD programme and continuously develop your practice

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience leading a curriculum area or whole-school initiative
  • Passion for outdoor learning and environmental education
  • Enthusiasm for using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Early Years Teacher/ Key Stage 1 Lead and Phonics Lead

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Early Years teacher ready for the next step in your career? If so, we would like to meet you.

Due to our Early Years Teacher venturing overseas, we are looking for an experienced Early Years Teacher to lead our youngest pupils as well as to lead Key Stage 1 and phonics to start in September. The successful candidate must be able to build positive relationships with their pupils and will actively promote the school values – Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. You must also be willing and able to build on our Good OFSTED report (Dec ’22) which stated:

‘Children in Reception get off to a good start. Children learn in a happy, secure environment, where they have warm relationships with staff. Leaders ensure that there is high-quality provision for children’s academic and personal development. Staff prioritise children’s communication and language learning.’
