West Malling CEP School is a thriving, successful, 1 form entry Primary School set in attractive grounds on the edge of the historic, attractive town of West Malling, in one of the most beautiful parts of Kent at the edge of the North Downs. Our vision is to "let our light shine" as children and adults.

Our school is small with a caring friendly environment, where it is possible to know all our children and their families. We have high expectations within a supportive and positive community where every child genuinely does matter and is treated as the unique individual they are. We are fortunate to be supported by the local community of West Malling and as a Church of England school, we have strong links with St Mary's Church in the village.

OFSTED has acknowledged that the school, together with its and highly regarded Speech and Language Specialist Resource Centre is Good, fully inclusive and well led. "The school is a welcoming environment where staff know pupils individually. Pupils are cared for effectively. Staff work closely together to make sure that each pupil gets the support they need; in addition staff enjoy working at the school and are proud to be part of an effective team"

The school is "outstanding" under the SIAMS framework (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist School) March 2015 which found "Christian values are embedded into the life of the school. Shaped by Christian values, pupils can grow in confidence and character. The school is an inclusive school in which all are aware of their innate value and worth. Guided by these Christian values, school leaders have substantially improved achievement and attendance of pupils so that most achieve at or above national standards."

We are proud to be a member of the Tenax Schools Trust.
