What skills and experience we're looking for

Come and join our creative and supportive teaching team. Our teachers work in collaborative and innovative ways to provide personalised learning opportunities across each key stage, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and effective class teacher to join us in Key Stage 1.

Working with our enthusiastic children as part of our highly successful and encouraging teaching team, this is an opportunity for an experienced teacher to build on, and share their experience and expertise while being supported in their professional development. We work collaboratively across the school using approaches such as team teaching, peer-coaching and lesson study.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a key stage 1 class. You will:

  • be proactive with a record of good or outstanding teaching
  • have a sound knowledge of current educational issues
  • have an understanding of the ways children learn and how individual needs may be assessed and met
  • have the ability to develop the confidence, independence and self-esteem of pupils
  • be able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards and professionalism within the classroom and throughout the school
  • possess excellent communication skills, a calm manner and be well organised
  • hold QTS status.
