You will be an outstanding practitioner who:

  • is dedicated to raising standards and is able to demonstrate highly effective teaching skills
  • demonstrates excellent and innovative pedagogical approaches for teaching and learning
  • can demonstrate the ability to plan an exciting, inspiring curriculum
  • who recognises parents as vital partners in learning and is committed to building strong relationships.

The successful candidate will also have the following experience and attributes:

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • A proven track record of achieving academic excellence.
  • Evidence of implementing innovative approaches to learning, particularly in regard to children with ASD.
  • Experience of meeting the needs of children and young people who may benefit from specialist provision within a mainstream setting.
  • Resilience, energy and optimism.


What the school offers its staff

Due to the exciting growth of our specialist provisions within The GORSE Academies Trust, which has seen Rainbow Base expand from 22 to 52 places over the last five years, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher for Rainbow Base, who has an outstanding record of achievement and is committed to the success of this Resource Provision.

We are a provision which currently caters for the needs of 52 pupils with complex communication needs and/or autism. We are passionate about providing the best for our pupils and supporting them to become life-long, enthusiastic learners. We are seeking to appoint an individual who can continue to build on the outstanding practice currently in place for our wonderful children.

Richmond Hill Academy is a three-form entry school (630 places) with a 52-place nursery and Rainbow Base, a Resource Provision for children with complex communication needs.
