What skills and experience we're looking for

This role offers the opportunity to work for a year as a Teacher Intern leading to the Apprenticeship route to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with The Cambridge Partnership, known as the Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship (PGTA) If you are a graduate, or about to graduate, with relevant experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs or with a commitment to training to teach within a specialist environment, we would like to hear from you. The successful applicant will initially work as an Intern alongside an experienced Teacher. Then, subject to successful completion of the intern year (2025-26) and gaining a place on the Postgraduate Apprenticeship route, as an Apprentice Teacher from July 2026 until July 2027 to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with The Cambridge Partnership (PGTA) This is a temporary role. To gain further experience, there may be an opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant before the internship starts. Salary range for Intern: £24,790-£26,835 (Actual £20,656-£22,360) Salary for Apprenticeship: £21,731 (UQT1)
