Adelaide Primary School requires a highly committed, talented teacher to join our team in September 2022.

We require an exceptional Key Stage 1 classroom teacher who is highly ambitious for themselves, our children and the school and will ‘go above and beyond’ to ensure the children make outstanding progress;

- Be a dedicated, hardworking qualified Teacher
- Have the ability to deliver well planned and stimulating lessons across the curriculum and ability range

- Have knowledge and understanding of effective behaviour management strategies and the ability to put these into practice

Adelaide Primary School is a large school in the heart of Hull city centre. It has places for 420 pupils aged 5-11 years and has a 40 place nursery. It serves a diverse community where 75% of pupils have English as an additional language. Adelaide Primary is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and has specific strengths in the pedagogy of Maths. At the centre of the school’s ethos is the firm belief that all children can achieve success and that education can make a real difference to lives and open the doors to exciting opportunities. Adelaide Primary School became an academy and joined Humber Education Trust in January 2018.
