Class Teacher – KS2 required for September 2022 – Temporary until 31st August 2023

The Headteacher, children and local governing body of Kirk Sandall Junior School are looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and effective teacher for Key Stage 2. You will be passionate about teaching, committed to ensuring each pupil achieves to their potential, with high standards of both yourself, your pupils and your colleagues and with outstanding knowledge of the KS2 curriculum. We are not necessarily looking for experience, but for talented and enthusiastic teachers with secure subject knowledge in English and Mathematics and a passion to impact on the lives of our children.

Kirk Sandall Junior School is a 7-11 years junior, and a member of the Brighter Futures Learning Partnership Multi-Academy Trust from 1st September 2019. We have a friendly and supportive Local Governing Body and staff team where everyone is valued.

We are looking for:

• An enthusiastic, highly motivated, creative and innovative teacher who is up-to-date with current learning theories
• A teacher who can commit to the wider life of school
• A teacher with a passionate belief in the inclusion of all children and the ability to respond to the challenge of inclusion
• An excellent classroom practitioner
• Good classroom management and assessment skills
• The ability to engage and enthuse pupils having a creative way to approaching lessons within a primary setting
• Excellent planning and preparation and the ambition to become the best teacher they can
