Teacher - KS2 (Year 5 & 6) job summary

We are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher with an exemplary teaching record and an interest in future leadership, to take on responsibility for an upper KS2 class within our vibrant and innovative primary school. This is an exciting position which will provide an opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking practitioner to put their skills into practice and contribute fully to the future development of our friendly village school.

Beaford Primary Community and Nursery School is an outstanding, rural, community school, where emphasis is placed on supporting the whole child through every aspect of development. We aim to promote and develop lifelong learning for all through a challenging, personalised curriculum that is both creative and stimulating. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and develop inclusive provision across the school. An interest in SEND would be an advantage but is not essential.

An understanding of principles of effective practice, a reflective but dynamic approach, good communication skills and a passion for making a difference for all children, are essential requirements for this post.
