Teacher job summary
We are looking for a Part Time Teacher to work with children who have physical and learning difficulties.
You will be responsible for all classroom activities and management ensuring pupils receive a full, broad and balanced curriculum differentiated to accommodate their individual needs. You will maintain a stimulating, safe environment in accordance with all school policies. You will make a positive contribution to a multi disciplinary team approach and ensure the safekeeping and welfare of all pupils at all times
Key duties include the following;
To ensure that all pupils have all necessary means to access the curriculum and fully participate in activities.
To monitor teaching and learning to ensure the activities meet the needs of the pupils.
To co-ordinate and prepare written individual education programmes (IEP's) for each pupil in the core subjects of the school curriculum and be prepared to discuss the same with parents.
Take an active part in personal and whole staff professional development and training.
