The Governors wish to appoint an excellent teacher who is passionate about teaching and meeting the needs of all learners. They must have a good depth of knowledge about the KS2 curriculum, be conversant with technology and be creative in their approach to teaching.

Oakwood Junior School aims to provide a warm, welcoming and supportive environment in which pupils enjoy working and learning together. As a junior school we have pupils from Year 3 - Year 6 and there are approximately 90 pupils per year group. We are located in Alvaston, Derby.
