What skills and experience we're looking for
Matthew Moss High School seeks to appoint a suitably qualified, strong and inspirational Alternative Provision Teacher to join our Connections team. Connections is our alternative provision offer which supports young people in their secondary education. These are learners who struggle to access the mainstream curriculum.
This is an exciting opportunity in an alternative provision classroom. We are looking for a Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 teacher who is experienced in delivering quality teaching across the curriculum to small groups. You will be experienced in working with a range of colleagues, and engaging and inspiring a love of enquiry based and experiential learning. The role will predominantly involve building self-esteem and strategically raising attainment through planning and supporting the students using ‘Nurture and Development’ strategies.
