What skills and experience we're looking for

The role and what we are looking for

The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 art and/or photography. We have three art courses available to students at KS4 - fine art, photography and textiles - therefore there are lots of opportunities to teach a variety of areas. The Art Department consists of three teachers and a technician. A willingness to support the Academy ethos and support of extra-curricular activities within the Academy is essential. You must be able to use a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate our students and demonstrate a commitment to sharing best practice with colleagues in the department. A passion for creative arts and a commitment to developing it across the curriculum is paramount.
