To start from 1st September, 2020 we are looking for an exceptional Art teacher who will inspire and motivate students in this high performing Bath boys’ lower school and mixed Sixth Form.
The post is a fixed term contract initially but has the potential to be made permanent.
We need someone with dynamism who aspires to the unconventional and who will create a buzz and excitement both within and beyond the confines of the classroom. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate an ability to deliver outstanding academic results and exemplary classroom practice. This position is equally suitable for an experienced teacher and one new to the profession.
The Art results are very strong both at GCSE (86% achieving grade 4 or better in 2019) and at A’ level (83% A*-C in 2019). The Creative Design Faculty is proud of the success of their students at both GCSE and A level, and increasingly students are studying these or related subjects at University. The successful candidate would be expected to teach Art at KS3, KS4 and A’ Level.
The School has a vibrant extra-curricular life which includes sport, music, drama, outdoor activities, debating and public speaking. A willingness to contribute will be a clear advantage.
