In January 2013 the governing bodies of Catshill Middle School and Catshill First School & Nursery became one, with the sole purpose of supporting both schools on their learning journey for the children in their care. The day to day running of the school is undertaken by Mr J Thompson, Head of School, under the strategic leadership of Mr P Essenhigh, Executive Headteacher. We have created a structure within our learning community that supports our core purpose of maximising progress and attainment of our children whilst ensuring that we give them life-long learning opportunities that will help shape their character and values.
Our core values of achievement, challenge and opportunity provide the basis for high quality learning experiences and personal development, within a caring and nurturing environment. The school continues to move forward with rapid improvements acknowledged by recent inspections. This improvement is reflected in continued high standards achieved by all our children by the time they exit the school in Year 8 and move to high school.
