What skills and experience we're looking for

Matthew Moss High School seeks to appoint a suitably qualified, dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Art & Design (All Specialisms welcome) to join our team and make a real difference to the children who attend our school. The ideal candidate will inspire learners to explore and express their creativity through various art forms and have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Art and Design.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about the quality of education our young people experience
  • An excellent Teacher
  • Is able to teach one of the following subject disciplines – Fine Art, Textiles, 3D, Graphics or Photography.
  • A passionate advocate and role model for CHANGE
  • Somebody who thrives on responsibility and hard work, and wants to develop themselves
  • Able to use your own initiative
  • Willing to go the ‘extra mile’ for our young people
