teaching and great leaders. Cardinal Newman School has an exciting opportunity
for a teacher of Art & Design who shares this passion.
Cardinal Newman School is an 11-19 comprehensive school, serving the Roman Catholic community in Luton and Dunstable. We are one of the most successful schools in Luton and have a thriving Sixth Form with 300 students. We have been consistently described by Ofsted as a ‘good’ school and under Section 48 as an ‘outstanding Catholic school’.
We are currently looking for a dynamic, passionate, and inspirational teacher who has excellent subject knowledge. You will also need to be able to contribute to continued improvements in progress and student attainment to join our successful and experienced Art and Design department.
As Teacher of Art and Design, we are seeking a candidate who could also offer a specialism of Graphics, however this is not essential. You will play a key role delivering challenging, well-organised lessons, teaching with expertise and enthusiasm as well as using an appropriate range of strategies and resources. This vacancy is open to both newly qualified and experienced teachers.
This is a full-time post from January 2024 (or as soon as possible) and offers a fantastic opportunity for professional development.
