In their most recent report, Ofsted described our standards as ‘high’, and said that ‘relationships between pupils and teachers are typically strong and pupils trust teachers to help them improve their work’. Inspectors noted that ‘staff are proud to be part of the school community’ and ‘they are highly motivated because they feel valued’
Due to a growing school we are seeking to appoint an innovative and inspirational teacher of Design Technology & Art to extend our team. The ideal candidate will have an excellent teaching profile with experience teaching Design Technology and/or Art including Product design of wood, plastic and metal to GCSE and Art to KS3. Our Art and Design Technology department is a forward-thinking team and we are passionate about delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment to our students. Within the department we have a culture of collaboration that celebrates best practice and the love of our subject. We are a vibrant and exciting team made up of both experienced and newly qualified staff. The Head of Department is passionate about growing the team and developing talent within the team, which is further supported by the extensive professional development offered by our school and our group, United Learning.
