Teacher of Art & Design job summary

The Howard School is seeking to appoint a member of staff to join our Art & Design Department. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, talented, and passionate Teacher of Art & Design, to start from September 2025.

The Art and Design Department at The Howard School is a high-achieving faculty that consistently produces 'outstanding' outcomes. With excellent facilities, including fully equipped photography classrooms, printmaking tools, and high-quality resources for 3D artwork, we provide an inspiring environment for both students and staff. Our centralised behaviour system ensures disruption-free teaching, while a supportive leadership team and smart workload policies prioritise live feedback over excessive marking.

This is a full time, permanent role, paid based on the STPC Main/Upper Teachers Pay Range, dependant on experience.

This post would suit an experienced or Early Career Teacher with good prospects for career development.
