Are you an ambitious and passionate teacher looking for a role as a part-time Teacher of Art & Design?
Are you seeking your first teaching role or a new challenge that will help you develop as an excellent practitioner?
Would you like to work in a school where “Leaders, including governors, value the work of staff and where new teachers speak highly of the support they are given”? (Ofsted June 2023)
Are you looking to work in a thriving and well-regarded school where staff well-being is central to all of our decision making where “Better Never Stops”?
Waingels is seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivational individual to teach Art & Design, part time at Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to teach any of the Art and Design specialisms (Fine Art, Graphic Design, 3D, Textiles or Photography) along with either Media or Food & Nutrition would be an advantage.
This role would be ideal for a new entrant to the profession or for an experienced teacher. The successful candidate will join a friendly, ambitious team of 6 teachers and a specialist Art and Design Technician in a very well resourced department to teach a stimulating and ambitious curriculum to students who are “respectful and proud “of their school (Ofsted 2023).
We will consider any part-time hours and will agree the exact number of days with the successful candidate.

- Engage in excellent, personalised professional development opportunities.
- Join a school where early finishes for parent consultation evenings and free tea and coffee every day are just some of the ways we ensure staff well-being is central to our decision making.
- Work in a school where the values of Respect, Kindness, Pride and Resilience underpin all we do.
If you feel your value and ethos align with ours, this is an exciting opportunity for you to pursue and advance your career.
