What skills and experience we're looking for

Kesgrave High School is looking for an Art teacher to join us from January 2025. This is an excitng opportunity to contribute to a talented and committed team of subject specialists. We are looking for an excellent Art teacher who can contribute to the teaching of one or more Art subjects, including; Art, Photography, Graphics and Textiles.

The Art department is paticularly well resourced. The main Art Department is housed in the Creative-Physical block and consists of three Art teaching rooms, a computer room, a lighting studio and a kiln room. All A-Level teaching is carried out in a separate Creative Media block where there are separate Sixth Form only studio spaces for Art and Photography, including a darkroom.

The Art department is a dynamic part of the school and the successful candidate should be able to work as part of a team and contribute energy, enthusiasm and new ideas. The department has a great sense of team spirit and staff work collabortively to ensure our students achieve the highest possible standards. The departments are also supported by a dedicated technician, as well as an administrative curriculum support assistant.
