Leigh Academy Blackheath (LAB) is a co-educational 11-19 Outstanding comprehensive school, located in Blackheath, Royal Borough of Greenwich. LAB is also an International Baccalaureate World School, delivering the highly regarded Middle Years Programme at KS3, and will open its new P16 provision - LAB16, in September 2023.

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Art who can deliver high quality learning opportunities for our students across this curriculum area. Our successful candidate will be driven, motivated and most of all, passionate about the visual arts and nurturing creativity. The ability to teach KS4 Photography is desirable

You will be part of a vibrant, experienced, supportive team; we believe in working collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting each other to achieve great things and see this as the key to further developing innovative teaching and learning strategies. The visual arts are highly valued at LAB, and if successful you will be joining a well-resourced and successful department.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust:As of 1st September 2023, our Trust comprises 31geographically organised academies (15secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff.
