About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Teacher of Art to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture artistic talent in our students, delivering engaging lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and a love for the arts.

Hours of Work: 1.0 FTE (0.8FTE or full-time available)
Position Type: Maternity Cover from February 2026
Line Manager: Head of Technology

Flexibility to work 0.8FTE available, or full-time. The salary is dependent on current qualifications and experience, please see the attached job description for more information.
Salary shown is based on the full-time equivalent. Salary for 0.8FTE will be £26,332 - £40,838 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
Develop schemes of work that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Organise and contribute to exhibitions, displays, and enrichment activities.
Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to departmental development.

Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Degree in Art or a related discipline.
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level.
