Teacher of Art job summary
The Campion School is committed to providing the best possible learning and working environment for both pupils and staff.
As we look to bolster our already vastly talented teaching staff, we currently have a vacancy for a Teacher of Art.
An enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of Art is required to join this oversubscribed and popular school. Examination results are very high and the school has an excellent reputation. The school is committed to maintaining a broad curriculum and a wide range of extra-curricular activity. The school underwent a very successful OFSTED inspection in 2016, which has praised the high achievement, good behaviour and good teaching that characterise the school. The successful candidate will initially be required to teach Key Stage 3 with the opportunity to develop this into GCSE and A level teaching depending upon experience and qualifications. The school has a national reputation for sport. Music and other extra-curricular activities are a strength.
You’ll be joining a team with a number of experienced teachers who will support your development. This makes this role ideal for an NQT or Teacher in the first few years of their career. Equally, it would also be a great opportunity for someone with more experience under their belt to progress further amongst some talented colleagues. Help with accommodation may be available as the school is currently developing on-site provision for teachers new to the profession.
About us
When joining The Campion School, you’ll find a friendly environment that is geared to ensure that both staff and pupils are happy and equipped for success. This is evidenced by our extremely low staff turnover rates.
Working here, you’ll find that you’re supported in your career and given ample opportunity to continue learning and thrive.
Whilst we are a Catholic school, we are very proud to have a diverse team that supports the ethos of the school. This contributes hugely to creating what we feel to be a welcoming place of work.
Outside the classroom, there is plenty of opportunity to get involved further. We have a keen focus on sport, music and charity work and all staff are welcome to get involved should they wish.

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.
Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
