The Priory Pembroke Academy is seeking a talented and driven Teacher of Art to cover a period of maternity to join us in February 2021. This is an exciting time to join our growing Academy. The Priory Pembroke opened in 2017 and is now 330 strong. We are wanting a team player who wants the best for every child. We need a person who will live and breathe our motto – achieving together!
Our successful Art department has an excellent track record. KS4 courses include GCSE Art, Craft & Design, Textiles and Photography. Student engagement and our shared values make us proud of learners. The length of your experience as a teacher is less important to us that your ability to inspire and motivate.
We are part of the Priory Federation of Academies and you will be encouraged and nurtured by the best professionals and be working collaboratively with other Academies by default. We see this as a strength.
The Priory Federation of Academies Trust is an established and supportive MAT. Our scale allows both flexibility and creativity in terms of career development, with permanent and secondment opportunities across our academies allowing exciting career pathways. We are determined in our mission to improve the life chances of our students and we are equally ambitious for, and committed to, the wellbeing and development of our staff. All our staff benefit from comprehensive induction, extensive CPD opportunities, our Employee Benefits Programme and excellent support from our HR team. The Trust follows national school teachers’ pay and conditions and adheres to the national pay recommendations.
