Are you an inspirational, dedicated teacher who is committed to raising student attainment? Do you consistently deliver good to outstanding lessons, track individual pupil progress and make effective use of structured feedback? Are you an intuitive, engaging and adaptable classroom practitioner who sets and keeps high expectations?

You will join our enthusiastic and collaborative Science department, teaching across all Key Stages. Students follow AQA GCSE Science or Separate Sciences at KS4, many of whom progress to A Level in Sixth Form.

The Science department has excellent resources: nine well equipped laboratories, each with an interactive whiteboard and advanced wireless network enabling all students to work on their iPads. Other specialist areas within the department include an orchid propagation lab, several greenhouses, one central prep room, and a science work room. We are extremely proud of the school’s internationally recognised orchid project.
