Full time to start January 2019. The post is temporary until Easter or July 2019. There is the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

As a science department our aim is to enable our learners to develop the underpinning knowledge, analytical skills and inquisitive attitude that will enable them to make sense of the world around them. We are looking for a biology specialist to join our team and to contribute their enthusiasm and teaching skills to our work. We can offer a supportive culture that is constantly seeking to improve learners’ experience and attainment through working collaboratively and being willing to adopt new ideas.
The successful candidate will be an effective classroom practitioner, committed to improving learners’ experiences and attainment through working collaboratively and being willing to adopt new ideas. In return we can offer the opportunity to teach students with a thirst for learning biology and a supportive department. The school is committed to safeguarding children and the post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
