  We have approximately 1600 pupils and students within Years Reception to Year 13 and offer a wide range of A-Levels in our Sixth Form. The opportunities for career development are extensive as part of our “T&L CPD @ TTLP” programme and our “Leadership CPD @ TTLP” programme. Not only would you have access to a personalised CPD programme to support your development as a practitioner in the classroom but you would also have access to our leadership CPD programmes to support any future career development plans.

Teacher of Biology (maternity) job summary

We seek to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Biology teacher to join a highly successful and innovative team for a period of maternity cover. This position offers someone with good communication and interpersonal skills a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and forward thinking school. Applicants must be committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning.

You will have demonstrated an ability to teach all Science subject areas at Key Stage 3 and Biology to Key Stage 4. It would be beneficial to be able to teach Biology at KS5.

This position offers someone with good communication and interpersonal skills a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and forward thinking school.

A willingness to contribute to and develop extra-curricular activities is essential.
