TEACHER OF BIOLOGY/SCIENCE job summary

Our school is very highly regarded, heavily oversubscribed, has a strong community ethos and enjoys examination results which are well above national averages.

We are looking for a teacher who is able to motivate and enthuse young people, raising their expectations and accelerating their progress. The successful candidate will teach across KS3 and KS4 and will join a successful department on an upward trajectory of results. They will work closely with our Curriculum Leader for Science to offer high quality provision to our students.

We require
- an enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Science at KS3 and Biology at KS4, with the ability and willingness to teach some Chemistry
- a commitment to high quality planning and creative teaching and learning
- an understanding of the importance of ongoing assessment and feedback to facilitate continuous progress
