MPS/UPS (Outer London)
Required from September 2020, a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Science to teach Biology in this lively and high achieving girls’ selective school. Applications from NQTs and from experienced teachers are equally welcome.
Biology is taught throughout the school. Students take Triple Science at GCSE and the majority go on to study A-Level sciences. We promote STEM opportunities for girls and would expect the colleague appointed to work actively towards this aim. State of the art Science facilities (Sept 2017), including an outdoor classroom, support the teaching of Science at Woodford.
