St Mary’s is a very successful and oversubscribed Catholic Secondary School. In our most recent Ofsted Inspection January 2019, we were rated as ‘Outstanding’ for overall effectiveness and all categories and ‘Excellent’ in our recent Section 48 Archdiocese Inspection. St Mary’s has high standards of behaviour and academic excellence and is consistently in the top 10% of schools throughout the country. We enjoy a beautiful rural environment and have excellent support from both Governors and parents.
There are pleasant playing fields, a sports hall, gymnasium and a good quality tennis/netball area. There is a great deal of enthusiasm for sport and a thriving extracurricular programme at St Mary’s. The successful candidate will be expected to teach KS3, KS4 and support the extracurricular activities.
