What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Teacher of PE to join us. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs. Due to the nature of this role there is an occupational requirement for us to recruit a male candidate.

This is a great opportunity to join an innovative PE Team and be part of its future success. You should have a passion for challenging students to achieve their best possible outcomes through inclusive learning and be able to teach across the ability range from KS3 to KS4.

The successful candidate will:

  • be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record in raising standards.
  • have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all students.
  • have humour, perspective and an ability to bring out the best in others.
  • support extra-curricular activities.
  • Be able to teach Rugby across all ages.
  • Be able to teach Football across all ages.
