We are seeking a hard-working and inspirational Teacher of Physical Education whose enthusiasm is matched by the quality of progress and outcomes. Due to the nature of this role, there is an occupational requirement for us to recruit a male candidate. We are looking for someone who has a passion for physical education and who will be able to demonstrate this through teaching and learning and extra-curricular provision.
The successful candidate will:
Be able to teach Physical Education to Key Stage Three to Five.
Possess a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Bed)
Ideally hold a Degree in Physical Education
Be an excellent communicator
Ensure high standards of teaching across the curriculum and have a commitment to challenging learners to achieve well
Be a passionate, caring and inspirational leader and teacher
Be self-motivated and reliable
Be enthusiastic about current research on thinking skills and building learning power.
