Teacher of Business 0.8FTE job summary

Whether you are at the start of your career or an expert teacher we will focus on what you will bring to the academy and most importantly what impact you will have on our students.

The school is looking to appoint a dynamic Teacher of Business to join the Enterprise College’s Business Team. Our long-established, ever expanding Business Studies department has a reputation for excellent attainment and adding value to performance levels across all abilities.

The department delivers a number of different qualifications at Level 2 and 3 including, IB, Business Management, Public Services, Customer Service and Financial Studies. The successful applicant would be expected to be able to contribute to more than one of our subject areas and take responsibility for their own classes. The ability to teach ICT would be an advantage.

With our ethos of ‘Learning, Respect and Belonging’, we have high aspirations for everyone and expect everyone to contribute positively to the school by working hard and participating in school activities. We treat everyone as an individual and value personal strengths and qualities. Homewood School is part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools serving the beautiful Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. All teaching staff are provided with an IT device and there is also a nursery based on the school site which offers discounts to Homewood Staff.

It’s a competitive market out there and we want to know what it is that makes you the one we can invest in. Detail your successes in your covering letter and get us excited about you.

Early applications are encouraged as we review applications as we receive them.
